Every purchase supports the community it represents.

Policies

Terms of Service

These terms cover three groups: people who shop, people who create designs, and organizations that claim a community. Draft wording below is pending legal review.

Last updated August 2026

1. Using NeighborMade

NeighborMade accounts are for adults 18 and older. Children are never required or expected to hold their own account — a child can be who a design or purchase is for, but every account action (creating an account, designing, purchasing) is performed by an adult.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit, including any claim to represent an organization.

[Placeholder — pending legal review] Account responsibilities, acceptable use and termination.

2. Creator terms

You keep ownership of artwork you create. By submitting a design to a community collection you grant NeighborMade a licence to produce, display and sell merchandise bearing it while the design is active.

You confirm the artwork is your own original work, or that you hold the rights needed to use it. Uploaded artwork is attested by you, not verified by us.

Creator Share is 5% of net merchandise revenue on qualifying designs, paid to the canonical creator of the artwork. Eligibility requires materially original authorship and valid submission access to the community.

[Placeholder — pending legal review] Payment timing, minimum payout thresholds, tax reporting and share forfeiture.

3. Community organization terms

Claiming a community lets a verified organization administer its storefront, approve designs and receive the community share of merchandise sales (15% of net merchandise revenue by default).

Claiming is not the same as brand authorization. Official names, logos, mascots and phrases may only be used while a current authorization is on file.

You confirm you are authorized to act for the organization and to grant the brand permissions you enter.

[Placeholder — pending legal review] Payout entity matching, tax documentation, term and termination.

4. Content standards

All designs pass automated NeighborMade screening before they can be submitted, shown publicly or purchased. We may decline or remove any design.

Organization approval does not override NeighborMade content or intellectual-property clearance.

5. Orders, pricing and fulfillment

Prices are shown at checkout. Items are made to order through our production partners.

See the Returns and Refunds policy for damaged, defective and incorrect items.

6. Liability, disputes and governing law

[Placeholder — pending legal review] Warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution and governing law — to be drafted by counsel.
